Health starts from within. This is why our STIRIXIS Group team designed Perrigo’s offices with the goal to maximize wellbeing in the workplace. By understanding the business’ needs and combining them with global trends, we created a nurturing and attractive workplace that enables deep concentration and productivity yet allows for the comfort and feeling of belonging of a home.
Following the award-winning relocation of Perrigo’s Greek headquarters in 2016, STIRIXIS Group was assigned Perrigo’s workplace in Bucharest and Sofia. The challenge was to translate the same standard of excellence — performance, wellbeing, engagement, and brand alignment — to a newly constructed building in Bucharest, a context that increases project complexity significantly. The space needed to simultaneously serve as a functional workplace, a brand expression, and a genuine wellbeing environment for Perrigo’s Romanian team, while managing the investment efficiently and reducing operational and maintenance costs.
STIRIXIS applied full concept strategy, concept design, branding, and construction management across the Bucharest and Sofia workplaces. Through deep mapping of Perrigo’s organisational needs, a design response was developed that leads workplace trends: flexible, task-oriented areas alongside dedicated zones for collaboration, teamwork, relaxation, social interaction, and privacy. Natural light, lighting design, sound-absorbing surfaces, and state-of-the-art air and temperature controls ensure comfort and wellbeing throughout. Colourful touches and distinctive branding promote Perrigo’s brand values and identity, while the layout is structured to promote cross-functional collaboration. The result is an environment users describe as attractive and welcoming, encouraging creativity, and nurturing productivity.
The Bucharest headquarters was recognised with the 5-Star Award Best Office Interior Romania at the International Property Awards 2020–2021. The new workplaces successfully boost performance and enhance productivity through wellbeing and engagement. STIRIXIS managed the initial investment efficiently while reducing operational and maintenance costs. Users characterised the environment as motivating, energising, and more productive than ever — confirming the success of STIRIXIS’s global expertise applied to a new regional market.
Designed to nurture collaboration and with a focus on user experience and well-being, Perrigo’s Romania headquarters was awarded the 5-Star Best Office Interior Romania at the International Property Awards 2020–2021 — a second international recognition for STIRIXIS’ work with Perrigo across two countries.
