ECOSHIFT — the strategic electromobility and energy storage business unit of Petros Petropoulos Group — required a headquarters that could reflect its hybrid operational character: engineering precision, commercial activity, and direct adjacency to a 2,500 m² production facility. The original client request focused on a contemporary office environment, but it quickly became clear that a conventional workplace solution would not reflect the operational complexity or strategic ambition of the business. The challenge was to design a unified mixed-use interior — integrating workplace and manufacturing into one coherent ecosystem — while operating within an active industrial setting, managing multi-zone functional complexity, balancing industrial authenticity with workplace comfort, and delivering within a strict budget linked to the launch of a new business unit.

The business had scale, but lacked a differentiated retail expression and a system that could support consistent growth across locations. The challenge was to redefine the brand experience and create a concept that could compete, connect, and scale.

STIRIXIS Workplaces reframed the project scope through a performance-driven lens. Through workplace strategy analysis, workflow mapping, and adjacency evaluation, the brief was rooted in operational clarity rather than surface aesthetics. The response was a modular, performance-driven spatial ecosystem: open-plan engineering workstations positioned with direct adjacency to the production floor, enclosed meeting rooms and micro-rooms for focused and confidential work, a café and lounge as social and collaborative anchors, and an internal amphitheatre supporting continuous learning and cross-functional alignment. Industrial authenticity was preserved through exposed ceilings, visible mechanical systems, and structural lines — balanced with warm wood finishes, curated materiality, and NatureConnect by Signify for calibrated lighting precision across the engineering workspace. Across the 3,000 m² production facility, Interact PRO by Signify provided integrated lighting control and automation. Large-scale environmental graphics were embedded as structural architectural elements, translating ECOSHIFT's identity of innovation, energy transition, and forward movement into spatial experience. STIRIXIS led the project end-to-end: strategy, architectural and interior design, MEP engineering, branded experience, wayfinding, project management, design supervision, tendering, and construction management.
