“ALS” Hellenic Maritime Training Center is a modern educational centre that aims to create the new generation of maritime experts through extensive and up-to-date training and seminars. The owner and new manager wanted to invest in a new environment: one that complements their modern, highly efficient, and technologically advanced learning approach. The project was particularly demanding as it required respecting the existing layout of the space while optimising usage and accommodating all the needs of the new training centre — including a technically complex bridge simulator that had to be built to be as realistic as possible, both in configuration and equipment.

The business had scale, but lacked a differentiated retail expression and a system that could support consistent growth across locations. The challenge was to redefine the brand experience and create a concept that could compete, connect, and scale.

STIRIXIS Group delivered a holistic approach across Concept Design and Concept Execution, revitalising the brand with new branding, Architectural and MEP design, and Construction Management. Each space was assigned a distinct use and experience: conventional classrooms and meeting rooms were combined with simulator rooms, breakout areas, private offices, vibrant social spaces, a welcoming reception, and warm relaxation zones. Environmental graphics following a colour identity rich in blues inspired by the motion of the sea were applied throughout. Light-coloured surfaces, wooden accents, sound-absorbing materials, state-of-the-art automation, and lighting design complementing ample natural light were all deployed to cultivate focus, well-being, and collaboration.
