Oitylo is one of the oldest and most storied villages in the Mani Peninsula; a protected heritage zone shaped by time, not trends. Developing here demanded more than architectural skill. It required a deep respect for a landscape and culture that must not be imposed upon. The brief called for a low-density collection of stone residences that would feel as if they had always belonged to the land, offering modern comfort without disturbing the raw beauty of their surroundings, and delivering genuine long-term value for both buyers and investors seeking authenticity in the Mediterranean market.

STIRIXIS Residential developed the architectural concept for ERAWA, a curated collection of 11 stone-built residences across five distinct home types, ranging from 80 to 122 m². Each home blends traditional Maniot architecture with contemporary design, using local materials; limestone, wood, and clay; fused with modern layouts and comforts including discreet solar water heating, integrated security systems, high-speed internet, and smart climate control. Layouts prioritize privacy, light, and space, while outdoor terraces and native landscaping connect every home to its landscape. Cross-ventilation and energy-efficient design guided by BREEAM principles ensure year-round comfort with minimal environmental impact. Each residence is named after the native herbs and plants of the Mani landscape, rooting the identity of the development in the land itself.
